Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About Ex Marc Anthony, Avoids Talking About New Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez

Jennifer Lopez has no bad blood with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

On Monday, March 20, Lopez stopped by “Live! With Kelly” for a chat and shared her “awesome” co-parenting experience with Anthony. Aside from raising their children together after their divorce, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer also revealed that they have been working on a new Spanish album together, E! News reported. “We're like, best friends, you know?” Lopez told host Kelly Ripa.

The “Let’s Get Loud” songstress was initially hesitant to work with Anthony following their split as it might be confusing if they were around each again. However, after they collaborated, Lopez felt that this helped them improve their relationship. “And it was—it was, it's been awesome. Honestly, I think it’s even helped our relationship,” Lopez said.

Aside from improving her relationship with her ex, the celebrity mom added that her collaboration with Anthony was also good for their twins, Max and Emme, 8, as the family had more time to spend together. “And the kids, they get to spend time with the two of us more together and see us working together, and it’s just good for them,” Lopez added. “It’s good for us. It was just good for the whole family.”

Ripa noticed that the “Booty” singer seemed so upbeat while talking about Anthony, so she asked Lopez if there was any chance of the pair remarrying. “Oh, no! No,” insisted the “On the Floor” singer.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail noted that Lopez did not mention her new love, Alex Rodriguez, during the interview. Ripa also did not ask the “Papi” singer about her new beau.

Lopez and Rodriguez have known each other for a decade, but it was only recently that the pair started going out. The couple dubbed as J-Rod was first spotted together in the Bahamas last week.

On Friday, Lopez spent some time with his sister, Susy Dunand. A-Rod’s sister even shared a photo of herself with the “Boy Next Door” star on her Instagram, which she captioned, “So sweet.”
