Jennifer Lopez Rumored Boyfriend: Is She Dating 'DWTS' Maksim Chmerkovskiy?

Many “Dancing with the Stars” fans already had Maksim Chmerkovskiy betrothed to 2014 Sochi Olympic gold medalist and Mirror Ball champion Meryl Davis, but since Season 18 of the show ended the two failed to form a bond and now the Ukrainian dancer has been tied to singer Jennifer Lopez.

At first, sources told Us Weekly the “DWTS” pro, 34, and former “American Idol” judge, 44, were “just friends,” but it appears something romantic could be brewing between the two celebs. The two were spotted dancing and having a good time at Shrine Nightclub after J-Lo performed a show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut Saturday.

"They looked very flirty with each other, the source told the news site. “She had a huge smile on her face and looked like she was having a great time." The witness added: "Maks was whispering into her ear and hugging her.”

J-Lo danced to hits like Jay Z's "99 Problems," Rihanna's "Birthday Cake," and French Montana's "Pop That." Even when they weren’t dancing, Chmerkovskiy reportedly wasn’t far from Lopez’s side, Us Weekly wrote.

But this recent report goes against an initial story Us Weekly wrote, which claimed dating rumors between the two were false.

"They are friends," one insider said of Lopez. "She doesn't have a second to date anyone right now, and it is definitely not romantic with Maksim."

The singer recently split from boyfriend of two years Casper Smart and met the “DWTS” veteran through friend Leah Remini, who appeared on Season 17 of the hit ABC reality show. The danced together at the 2013 AMAs in November and reportedly chatted at his brother Val’s birthday party in March.

Neither Chmerkovskiy nor Lopez have publicly commented on their alleged fling, and reps for the dancer did not respond for comment.
