Jennifer Lopez Wants A ‘Cheating Clause’ In Alex Rodriguez Prenup
Jennifer Lopez may not have publicly responded to allegations her fiancé Alex Rodriguez cheated, but that doesn’t mean she’s isn’t prepared for the worst in their relationship.
In the April 8 print issue of In Touch Weekly is reported that the 49-year-old performer is looking to add “a cheating clause” to their marriage prenuptial agreement.
“Before they marry, Jennifer wants him to sign an iron-clad prenup with a cheating clause to protect herself if he betrays her,” an insider tells the magazine.
“She wants some reassurance about their future," added the insider, who said Lopez doesn’t believe the rumors about her 43-year-old ex’s unfaithfulness. “She wants their marriage to last and loves Alex, but with three divorces under her belt, she’s fully aware that sometimes the fairytale ending doesn’t happen.”
The magazine reports that Rodriguez, who is estimated to be worth $21.1 million to Lopez’s $47 million, feels the agreement isn’t necessary but is “willing to prove his commitment to her by signing it.”
