Jennifer Lopez’s Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez Signs With ABC As ‘Good Morning America’ Contributor

Jennifer Lopez’s boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, has signed with ABC to appear in several shows as their contributor.

According to Deadline, Rodriguez will be joining “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight With David Muir” and “Nightline” as a sports contributor. He will also be reporting on special topics such as personal fitness and finance. In addition, the former New York Yankee signed with FOX Sports in March to serve as a full-time analyst for the 2017 season of the World Series championships and beyond.

Rodriguez played for 22 seasons as a shortstop and third baseman, starting with the Seattle Mariners, followed by the Texas Rangers and finally the New York Yankees. He also holds the record for most grand slams at 25. But in 2014, he got suspended for an entire season after confessing to using illegal performance-enhancing drugs. He eventually returned to the Yankees a year later, but decided to retire in 2016, according to TV Line.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez’s personal life has also been making headlines for the past two months since he was linked to “World of Dance” executive producer and judge Lopez. The two, who are rumored to be taking their relationship to the next level, have been spending time with each other’s children. Most recently, Lopez was photographed with her daughter, Emma, and Rodriguez’s two children, Tashi and Ella, at an event. The young girls also celebrated Easter Sunday together with Rodriguez, Lopez and her son, Max.

Last month, Rodriguez sat down for an interview on “The View” where he gushed over Lopez. “It’s obvious – we’ve been having a great time. She’s a New Yorker. She’s from the Bronx – and a big Yankee fan. But we’re having a great time, she’s an amazing, amazing girl – one of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met, and also an incredible mother,” he said.

When asked what he loves most about Lopez, Rodriguez said that she’s just like any other normal human being. “Well, for one – she was a track star in high school and junior high, so she’s an awesome, awesome athlete. She just likes simple things, she’s a very, very simple person – loves family, is a great sister, is a great daughter,” he said.
