Jennifer Lopez's Boyfriend Casper Smart Bashed By Former Dance Pal Joshua Ayers: ‘He’s An Opportunist’

Amid the drama of his alleged texting scandal with transsexual model Sofia Vissa, Casper Smart’s former dance friend is speaking out about Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend.

Hollywood dancer Joshua Lee Ayers spoke to Radar Online about the texting messages and what his intentions may truly be with Lopez. Ayers and Smart both appeared in the movie “Step Up 3D” and crossed paths at several dance gigs in the past.

When questioned about Vissa’s claims that Smart cheated on Lopez with her, Ayers said he wouldn’t count the possibility out. “I don’t put nothing past the kid. He’s an opportunist. It’s all gonna come out eventually,” Ayers told Radar.

Ayers has previously accused Smart of using Lopez, saying in 2012 that the 27-year-old was gay and only seeking fame from dating Lopez. At that time, Smart’s reps said he “is not gay” and described Ayers’ claims as words “born from envy and jealousy.”

Still, Ayers stands by his statements. He even told Radar that Smart rips choreography from other dancers and uses it in Lopez’s videos.

“He’s a little opportunist b*tch boy and he’ll do anything to help [Lopez's] career,” Ayers said. “He’ll scout other people’s talent and craft and work, then bring it to her and they’ll do a piece or a video with it. That’s what he’s always done.”

Ayers added that Smart seeks out and flirts with gay men in the dance business to gain work opportunities. “Half of his resume, he worked for gay choreographers and dancers. He flirts with them to book work and add it to his resume. It’s really just him going that extra mile to be in the limelight,” he said.

Smart’s reps haven’t commented on the texting claims made by Vissa. But insiders speaking with Radar say he met with Lopez’s publicists and manager on Tuesday to discuss the situation. He then flew to Boston with Lopez, her mother, and Lopez’s two 6-year-old twins, Max and Emme. The couple was recently seen on the red carpet of the 2014 Billboard Awards, where Lopez received the Billboard Icon Award.
