Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brian Hallisay Welcome Second Baby; Find Out What They Named Him
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay’s family just got a little bigger. The couple, who already have one child together, just welcomed another.
Hewitt gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, June 24. She and her hubby chose the name Atticus James Hallisay for their first son. Reps for the couple confirmed the good news to Yahoo. Neither Hewitt nor her husband have spoken out since the baby's birth. Few other details are known about the couple's new baby.
According to Nameberry, the name Atticus is of Latin origin and means “from Attica.” In 2014 the name was ranked number 370 in popularity, with many gaining inspiration from the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird,” which had a character called Atticus Finch. Atticus is also the name of a Roman literary figure. Other famous couples who have a son named Atticus include Daniel Baldwin and Isabella Hoffman, and Summer Phoenix and Casey Affleck.
Hewitt and Hallisay announced the news of their first pregnancy and engagement in June 2013. Five months later the pair welcomed daughter Autumn James Hallisay, now 19 months old.
According to Us Weekly, Hewitt and Hallisay wed in "private" not long after their daughter's birth. The two first met on the set of "Love Bites," which aired on NBC. They reconnected in 2012 when Hallisay landed a role on Lifetimes, "The Client List," in which Hewitt played the lead. They have been together ever since.
