Jerry Hall Weds Rupert Murdoch In Blue Vivienne Westwood Dress
Former model Jerry Hall married her media baron beau Rupert Murdoch in a cloudy blue Vivienne Westwood dress in London last weekend. The wedding took place at St. Bride’s Church on Fleet Street. The 59-year-old and the 84-year-old wed officially in a civil ceremony at Spencer House on Friday.
The bride looked elegant in chiffon Vivienne Westwood confection. The dress featured bias cut chiffon pulled elegantly around the bust and wrapped into soft sleeves which were sheer. It had long sleeves and an asymmetric hemline with the white tinted tights crumpled below the knee. Her son James Jagger, 30, walked her down the aisle.
The former model, who has walked for the British designer several times in her career accessorized with silver Roger Vivier flats, and wore a blue hairband and a short veil. Jerry’s make-up was flawless with black eyeliner and lots of mascara, glowing skin and red glossy lipstick. Her long blonde locks was left loose around her shoulder and styled in loose waves.
She carried a white bouquet of flowers tied together with a white lace ribbon. She had a huge smile on her face and flashed her mega-carat diamond ring. Jerry’s six bridesmaids included her two daughters Elizabeth and Georgie May Jagger, along with Rupert’s daughters Elisabeth, Prudence, Grace and Chloe. They also wore pale blue Westwood creations that gathered with a sweep of fabric at the hip.
Meanwhile, Rupert looked smart in a navy blue suit and trousers paired with a pale blue shirt and patterned blue tie. He paired his look with a pair of brown lace-up shoes and a white rose pinned on his lapel. His sons Lachlan and James Murdoch were flanked by his side in matching looks.
Earlier on Friday at their civil ceremony in London, the mother-of-four wore a collarless white coat over a blue dress, and black patent leather Roger Vivier buckle flats. She carried a purple crocodile two-tone Analeena handbag. On Saturday, the newlywed couple hosted a wedding breakfast at in Mayfair, where more than 100 guests attended.
