‘Jersey Shore’ Reunion At Deena Cortese’s Wedding Didn’t Include Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
The “Jersey Shore” cast came together earlier this year for a road trip, but that wasn’t the only reunion in 2017. The former MTV reality stars had another reunion at Deena Cortese’s wedding, but one person was missing.
Almost all of the “Jersey Shore” crew was in attendance at the ceremony, which was held Saturday in New Egypt, New Jersey. Nicole Polizzi (a.k.a. Snooki), Jenni Farley (a.k.a. JWoww), Samantha Giancola (a.k.a. Sammi Sweetheart), DJ Pauly D (born Paul DelVecchio), Vinny Guadagnino and Mike Sorrentino (a.k.a. The Situation) were all pictured at the nuptials. However, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was missing.
Ortiz-Magro was also missing from E!’s “Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore” in August (Cortese and Guadagnino were absent as well). It doesn’t sound like it was a snub, though. It seems he actually had some business that prevented him from being in Jersey for both the October wedding and the August reunion special.
“I’m not going to make it to Deena’s wedding. I’m actually in the middle of a project, a business investment so I have to be out here in California,” Ortiz-Magro told TooFab. “She knows that I wish her the best. Her and Chris, you know, they’re a great couple and I’m always rooting for them and I’m happy that she found someone to spend the rest of her life with.”
It looks like Cortese managed to have a great day despite the “Jersey Shore” reunion not being complete. She married Christopher Buckner at Laurita Winery, and several of her former roommates brought their significant others. Sorrentino attended with girlfriend Lauren Pesce. Farley brought husband Roger Mathews, who was rocking a black eye after their one-year-old son apparently hit Mathews.
It seems some of the MTV alums were getting emotional during the big day. Farley told her followers on Instagram that she kept ruining her makeup throughout the celebration. “Every time I say that I’m done crying at Deena’s wedding, something super adorable happens, and I start crying again,” she told viewers on Instagram.
While “Jersey Shore” ended in 2012 after six seasons, the stars are still defending the reality show’s authenticity. Polizzi, who is now married with two children, recently went on Twitter to deny a report that the show was scripted.
“Lmao I wish I could say it was scripted to tell m kids that but it was all real because we are/were drunk [expletive],” Polizzi tweeted earlier this month.
