Jessa Duggar Sex Scandal Update: Blogger Supports '19 Kids And Counting' Star's Alleged Church Sex Claims
A Christian blogger commented on the recent allegations about Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s having sex in the church where they wed earlier this month, saying that she did not feel that it was “inappropriate,” reports Radar Online. On the blog "My Life As A Stay At Home Wife and Mother!" several commenters in a post titled “Weddings and Such” hinted at Duggar and Seewald’s post-wedding consummation.
A woman named Ashleigh, who claimed to have attended the TLC reality-TV star and her college student beau’s nuptials, reportedly said that she had “no intention” of giving rise to a scandal, but did not stop her friend Mary B from writing about the "troubling" incident.
“What Mary B. and others have said I will not confirm or deny because it is not my business what married couples do,” Ashleigh wrote on her site “My Life As A Stay At Home Wife And Mother,” according to Radar Online. “Even if it IS in God’s Holy house. Personally, I feel it’s not inappropriate as long as no one but the Lord sees you, so please lock the door. Sex was made by God for Man and Wife… so what could possibly be more glorifying to Him than to partake in what the Lord has made for you in His house?”
A reader, who identified herself as Mary B, claimed that she had attended the wedding at First Baptist Church of Bentonville, Arkansas, on Nov. 1.
“I was told about the incident that was witnessed by the girls when the door to the room they were in was accidentally opened,” reads her comment. “I am not sure why they would not wait for the evening to pray and then consummate God’s marriage. The Lord has blessed them and brought them together. To hear so many people discussing what they inadvertently walked into was heartbreaking and troubling.”
Meanwhile, some fans of the Duggars claimed that the allegations were untrue. The family has yet to deny the allegations.
Jessa, 22, and Ben, 19, both fundamentalist Christians, got married on Nov. 1 in front of nearly 1,000 guests. A wedding special is scheduled to air on the next season of the reality TV show.
