Jesse James: Reality TV Star Marries 4th Wife, Drag Racer Alexis DeJoria
Nearly three years after splitting from actress Sandra Bullock, Jesse James is married once again.
On Sunday, the former “Jesse James: Outlaw Garage” star married drag racer Alexis DeJoria in an intimate Malibu ceremony, E! News reports. The wedding took place at the home of John Paul DeJoria, billionaire founder of Paul Mitchell hair products and Patron spirits. James’ daughter, Sunny, 9, and DeJoria’s daughter, Bella, 10, acted as the ceremony’s flower girls.
While James has yet to officially acknowledge his change in marital status, a series of uploads to his Instagram account all but confirm the event. On the day of the wedding, he posted a photo in which he can be seen walking hand in hand with his new bride, accompanied by the quote “Happiness is only real when shared.”
When one of his followers asked James about the quote, he responded by saying, “It's 100% True. Everything before seems so silly compared to how perfect she is. I have never felt so happy and so loved.”
James’ private life has long been regarded as tabloid fodder. The custom motorcycle maker has been married three times before, with each relationship ending in a worse fashion than the last. After splitting with his first wife, Karla, James got hitched to porn star Janine Lindemulder. The couple’s two-year relationship ended in 2004, culminating in a high-profile custody battle over their daughter, Sunny. Next, James married world-famous actress Sandra Bullock, only to divorce yet again after allegations of cheating led to an infamous public feud in 2010.
After divorcing Bullock, James was briefly engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D, who called off their marriage after accusing James of unfaithfulness. James and DeJoria began dating in September 2012, after James broke off his relationship with Von D. They became engaged after just a few months of dating.
James and DeJoria, the driver of the Patron Nitro Funny Car, currently live in Austin, Texas, where James has relaunched his “West Coast Choppers” company.
