Jessica Simpson Reveals Post-Baby Body To Katie Couric In First Public Appearance On The Host's New Talk Show 'Katie'
Entertainer-entreprenuer Jessica Simpson finally showed off her weight loss on Katie Couric's new ABC talk show, the Daily Mail reported.
Dressed in a black peplum top and black skirt, Simpson looked like she's lost a lot of weight since she had her daughter, Maxwell, four months ago. Simpson has famously been struggling to lose the 40 to 50 pounds she gained in pregnancy, especially since Weight Watchers offered her a rumored $4 million deal to lose the weight by a certain date.
Former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, who also struggled to lose weight after giving birth, came to Simpson's defense, saying, "That's a woman who just gave birth. Her first priority right now is her child. Her first priority is not losing the weight. You should be proud of her for that. A lot of people just dump their kids off at nannies and lose the weight overnight. We should all be proud of her for being real and taking control and making priorities."
Simpson looked great while on Couric's new show, "Katie," and was the host's very first guest.
Simpson talked with Couric about her weight struggles, stating, "I thought my doctors were telling me that it was just a lot of water and whenever my water broke my whole entire stomach would go down, but that did not happen. All the weight did not come out with the baby."
Celebrity mothers have recently been in the news, after Kim Zolciak, a star of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta," welcomed her second son with her NFL husband, Kroy Biermann, in August. She is already flaunting her post-baby body. In a photo she tweeted, Zolciak, 34, shows off her already shockingly trim arms and flat stomach, just two weeks after giving birth.
But Simpson says that though she has a lot of pressure on her to lose the weight, she is not in any rush.
"I've just had a lot of pressure on me and today was actually one of my goals," Simpson told Couric.
