As Easter Sunday approaches, a central narrative to Christianity is retold -- the Passion. While belief in the Resurrection is viewed as the most important part of the Christian faith, the period of suffering and his gruesome death by crucifixion at the hands of the
Romans is often retold and re-enacted in vivid detail.

In the Czech city of Ceska Lipa, the Passion of Christ was re-enacted on April 7.
