Jhene Aiko, Big Sean Expecting First Baby Together: 'Couple Is Overjoyed' [Photo]

Jhene Aiko was looking happily pregnant when she was spotted walking along California's Beverly Hills over the weekend.

The 34-year-old "Lead the Way" singer was caught on camera wearing a long, fitted gray dress with her hair comfortably tied in a ponytail, TMZ reported Sunday. Aiko held a wicker shopping basket as she walked in a fitted gray dress and a pair of white slippers. Her boyfriend and longtime collaborator Big Sean walked alongside her.

"The couple is overjoyed and looks forward to this next chapter," a source close to the couple told People.

Pregnancy rumors sparked last month when a fan claimed on Twitter that she spotted Aiko with a baby bump at an organic grocery store.

"I jus saw Jhene Aiko and Big Sean at Whole Foods and she's very pregnant _ iktr Sean," the fan said.

Rapper Big Sean and Aiko are frequent collaborators and have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2016.

The baby would be Sean's first and Aiko's second child. Aiko is already a mom to 13-year-old Namiko Love whom she shares with R&B singer O'Ryan.

Aiko and Sean briefly split in 2019 but reconciled shortly after. The singer told her fans she and Sean were "good" in an Instagram comment at the time.

"Me and Sean are good," the "Never Call Me" singer wrote after a fan suggested Aiko should "bash" Sean on her next album.

"I've got tons of love for him," Aiko replied. "My next album is all freestyles where I touch on many subjects and relationships… past, present and future. I know you all love the drama and would like to think everything I do or say is about him, but I've been through plenty of other things and situations that I pull inspiration from when I sit down to create a song. Have a good day."

In 2020, Sean released a track, titled "Deep Reverence," which dealt with various things, including the pain of losing a baby.

"Should be a billionaire based on the time off I'm not taking / Probably why the s--- around me get crazy and we lost the baby," the rapper said.

Despite speculations, it was never clear if he was rapping about Aiko.
