Blackpink’s Jennie Hangs Out With Jhene Aiko In Hawaii: ‘Sing To Me’

After attending Chanel’s fall fashion show in Paris on Tuesday, Blackpink’s Jennie headed to Hawaii for another glitzy event where she met with one of her favorite artists Jhené Aiko.

The 26-year-old K-pop musician attended designer Simon Porte Jacquemus’ spring/summer 2022 fashion show, “Le Splash” in Oahu, where she donned a matching pink crop top and pencil skirt set, perfect for the summer-themed runway show.

Loyal followers of the Blackpink singer would know that Jennie adores Aiko. In June 2021, Jennie included Aiko’s “Sing to Me” in her Chanel playlist, along with her other favorites like “Love Galore” by SZA and Travis Scott and “Lost in your Eyes” by Debbie Gibson.

The girls were seen enjoying their time together at the party following the successful runway show. Aiko uploaded a short clip of her and Jennie dancing the night away on her Instagram story. At one point in the clip, the “Boombayah” singer could be seen hugging Aiko briefly before they chatted as if they have been friends for a long time.

A fan tweeted Aiko’s Instagram upload and wrote, “Jennie and Jhene Aiko omg collab pls we need a new pussy fairy."

Jennie too reposted Aiko’s clip on her own Instagram story and wrote, “Sing to me – Jheñe Aiko, Naimiko Love is one of my favorite songs in the world that heals my heart every time.”

Jennie also met SZA, Aminé and Daniel Ceasar and sat next to them in the event as seen in her collection of snaps posted on her Instagram page which she simply captioned, "Le Splash."

Jennie also met social media influencer Bretman Rock at the "Le Splash" event.

On Thursday, models strutted on a cobalt blue catwalk across the sand for Jacquemus’ fashion show. The event was the designer’s Hawaiian debut which was briefly delayed due to rains. The show was characterized by colorful matching sets in blue, pink black swimwear.

Prior to the Hawaii runway show, Jennie was in Paris for Chanel’s fall/winter 2022 runway show where she donned a tube top and a sparkling black jacket and short skirt. After the show, fans lined up outside the venue to catch a glimpse of Chanel’s global ambassador.

Chanel’s official Twitter page shared a clip of Jennie arriving at the venue and being photographed.
