Washington -- Jimmy McMillan, better known as The Rent Is Too Damn High guy, gave an impromptu speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2012 on Saturday.

The political activist held court at Blogger Row at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and reiterated that the rent is still too damn high. McMillan has run for political office multiple times, but gained notoriety in 2010 when he ran for governor in New York.

He has previously run as a Democrat, but switched to the Republican Party ahead of a presidential campaign in 2012 against Barack Obama. McMillan feels that he is the most worthy candidate because neither Obama nor any of the Republican candidates know what they are doing.

Barack Obama don't know what he's doing, he said. But I'll be damned if I'll vote for any of the Republican presidential candidates because they know nothing.

He then challenged one female reporter in the room for her alleged support of poor people, but claimed he wasn't trying to embarrass her.

I represent the little people, McMillan said. People can't afford to pay their mortgage or pay their rent. ... Let's be for real. We've got issues in this country that are not being addressed. I address matters of necessity.

McMillan isn't viewed by anyone as a serious candidate to win the Republican presidential nomination. He has not appeared at any of the major debates or campaigned anywhere, but that won't stop him from continuing to preach about high rent.
