Jinger Duggar And Jeremy Vuolo Engaged After Brief Courtship, Share Engagement Photos

Another Duggar daughter is headed down the aisle. Jinger Duggar and her boyfriend Jeremy Vuolo announced they’re engaged. The happy news comes just one month after the former “19 Kids & Counting” star revealed that she was courting the former professional soccer player.

It was rumored a few days ago that Vuolo had proposed to Duggar when she was seen in a photo hiding her left hand under the table, but the couple didn’t confirm the news until Tuesday. In a joint statement to People magazine, Duggar and her new fiancé said they were “so excited” to take the step in their relationship.

“From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship,” they said. “We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together. It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days.”

Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, took to their family blog to congratulate the couple writing that they were extremely happy for their daughter and Vuolo. “Above all, we are so grateful for their love and commitment to Christ,” they wrote. “We are so excited about another Duggar wedding! We know that wonderful days are ahead for Jinger and Jeremy and we are looking forward to every moment! Our entire family rejoices!”

So far, details about how Vuolo popped the question haven’t been revealed but the couple did share engagement photos showing off Duggar’s new ring. You can see the pictures here.

Duggar, 22, and Vuolo, 28, announced their courtship last month. At the time, TLC released a video of the happy couple talking about their blossoming romance. Jinger revealed in the video that she met Vuolo last May and during a missions trip they were both on, she really got to see his heart and “admire” his character. “As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord and be very intentional about how we move forward,” he said. “We are very excited to begin this journey together. And for you to join us along the way.”

Duggar will be the third daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle to get married. Her sister Jill Dillard wed Derick Dillard in June 2014, and sister Jessa Seewald married Ben Seewald in November 2014.
