The Duggar family celebrates “Counting On” stars Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo’s connection to non-profit charity. TLC

Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are proud of what their daughter Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo have accomplished. The couple recently took to Facebook to praise their sixth oldest child and son-in-law for their charity work.

“Jeremy and Jinger wanted to share about a special young lady whose life was changed through SWAN 4 Kids!” Jim Bob and Michelle wrote on their official fan page. The “Counting On” stars went on to ask fans to “consider praying for and donating” to the organization, which stands for Scaling Walls A Note At A Time and helps children whose parents have a history of incarceration by giving them music lessons.

The non-profit organization was founded by Jeremy’s mother, Diana Vuolo, a professional violinist, several years ago.

In a video posted to the Facebook page, Jeremy discussed a woman named Anna who at 17 years old, was housed in a state detention center because she didn’t have anywhere else to go when both of her parents were incarcerated. “Anna received free voice lessons, was guided through some tough situation by her SWAN mentor and even ended up singing [the prelude] for our wedding,” Jeremy said.

In the video, Jinger and Jeremy also shared the story of another SWAN member who was abandoned by her drug-addicted mother and imprisoned father and never had a real home. “She found comfort, strength and joy in her singing,” Jeremy said, adding that after starting singing lessons at 10 years old, within months, was performing at various events.

“It really is such an honor,” Jinger said of her and Jeremy representing the organization. “SWAN is helping vulnerable children succeed.”

Jinger and Jeremy first spoke out about their connection to SWAN 4 Kids on Oct. 11, with Jinger telling fans music has always played a big part in her family’s life.

“I remember years growing up taking violin and piano lessons and absolutely loving it. Music still has a big part in our house here. Jeremy’s constantly running around the house singing to me,” Jinger said in the couple’s first video about the cause.

Duggar fans looking to help out the organization can donate online. SWAN’s donation site allows visitors to gift $15 for children’s music lessons, $25 for music lessons and performance opportunities, $50 for group music lessons or their desired amount. Donations are accepted monthly or as a one-time charge.

Jinger and Jeremy’s decision to support Diana’s charity comes during Season 3 of “Counting On.” On the last episode, TLC viewers saw Jinger participate as a bridesmaid in her sister Joy-Anna Duggar’s wedding to Austin Forsyth.

Earlier in the season, in July, Jinger and Jeremy appeared on a reunion special alongside host Daphne Oz to discuss their life as newlyweds. During their segment, the couple revealed they recently purchased a home in Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy works and have babies on the brain. Jinger’s eldest sister, Jana Duggar, even offered to help her redecorate one of their guest rooms into a nursery.
