‘Jingle Bell Bride’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
The merriest time of year is finally here on Hallmark Channel, starting with the premiere of the first new film of the 2020 Countdown to Christmas event--“Jingle Bell Bride.” The film, which stars Julie Gonzalo and Ronnie Rowe Jr, premieres Saturday night.
While Rowe, Jr. Might be new to Hallmarkies, with his most well-known roles being on “Star Trek: Discovery,” where he starred as Lt. R.A. Bryce, and as John in the Lifetime movie “The Clark Sisters: The First Ladies of Gospel.”
However, Gonzalo is someone who will be easily recognizable, with a plethora of roles in Hallmark movies to her name so far—including “Pumpkin Pie Wars,” “Falling For Vermont,” “The Sweetest Heart,” “How To Train Your Husband” and “Flip That Romance.” Other credits include roles on “Supergirl,” “Veronica Mars” and “Dallas,” as well as teen roles in “A Cinderella Story,” “Dodgeball” and “Freaky Friday.” This film will mark her first Christmas film for Hallmark though, even though she has previously starred in other holiday films, including Lifetime’s “3 Holiday Tails” and the big-screen movie, “Christmas With the Kranks.”
So what will happen when Gonzalo and Rowe team up for their first holiday film together? Weddings, Christmas and love are all in store, according to a synopsis.
“Wedding planner Jessica Perez (Gonzalo) travels to a remote town in Alaska to find a rare flower for a celebrity client and is charmed by the small-town during Christmas,” the synopsis reads. “As well as the handsome local helping her.”
Will Jessica find not only the flower she seeks but a love of her very own?
“Jingle Bell Bride” airs Saturday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
