Joe Giudice Breaks Silence On Ex Teresa, Luis Ruelas’ Engagement

Joe Giudice has broken his silence on his ex-wife Teresa Giudice’s engagement to Luis Ruelas, the latter’s boyfriend of one year.

The 49-year-old former reality star, who is now based in the Bahamas, exclusively opened up to Celebuzz after learning about Teresa and Ruelas’ engagement.

According to Joe, the couple may have moved a bit quickly in their romance, but he is happy for Teresa. He also gave the pair his blessing as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials.

“I think they moved a bit quick into this romance, but I’m glad she found her true love and wish them all the best,” he was quoted by the outlet as saying.

Joe continued, “I’m happy for Teresa and Louie, I give them my blessings.”

Interestingly, Joe appeared to be singing a different tune when he shared a cryptic post on his Instagram a couple of days after it was reported that Teresa said yes to Ruelas’ proposal during their getaway in Greece.

“I’m thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength,” the message he shared read.

A number of fans speculated that he was hurting because Teresa and Ruelas’ relationship has moved to the next level.

“Your heart must hurt just a little… But at the same time, you have to be happy that Teresa is happy,” one fan wrote.

“I know this has to be so hard for you. I’m so sorry. Great outlook though,” another added.

Back in April, Joe got the chance to meet Teresa’s boyfriend when his family visited him in the Bahamas. At the time, he admitted that his meeting with Ruelas was a bit “awkward.”

However, Joe maintained that he was willing to foster a harmonious relationship with him and Teresa since he and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star are co-parents to four kids.

“Parenting should always be about giving your children the best outcomes for every situation. I believe we deserve to all be happy and our children will thank us for it. I am genuinely happy for both Teresa and Luis and wish them the best,” Joe told Us Weekly at the time.

He also shared a snap of his reunion with Teresa and their daughters, Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11, and wrote a heartwarming message for his ex-wife and her lover.

“I truly appreciate and hope I will continue to be present in my best friend’s life. A great person, mom, and confident individual. @teresagiudice @louiearuelas great meeting you,” he captioned the post.
