Joe Giudice Reacts To Ex-Wife Teresa Giudice's 'DWTS' Season 31 Elimination: 'Proud Of You'

Joe Giudice broke his silence after his ex-wife, Teresa Giudice, got eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" Season 31 this week.

The ABC ballroom competition returned Monday for its Week 2 performances. The episode was a tribute to Elvis Presley, so all dance pairs had to perform to the late music icon's songs.

In the end, Teresa, 50, and her pro dance partner, 36-year-old Pasha Pashkov, were sent home. The two were also in the bottom two last week.

In response to his ex-wife's elimination from the show, Joe, also 50, posted side-by-side photos of him and Teresa on his Instagram Wednesday and provided a link to his exclusive statement published via Celebuzz.

In his statement to the entertainment news site, the former Bravo star said that he is proud of his ex even though she got booted early in the competition.

"I'm glad she made it to the 2nd show, a lot more than most can say," Joe said. "Proud of you."

Joe also grabbed the opportunity to comment on Teresa's recent NFL commercial for DirectTV with her "Real Housewives" co-stars Kenya Moore and Kyle Richards.

"I like the football commercial, keep on going girl, you did it," he said.

Joe has been very supportive of Teresa ever since it was announced that she would be among the celebrities competing in the show's 31st season.

He previously encouraged his followers on social media to vote for his ex-wife because she's always wanted to appear on the show.

"Congratulations to my ex. Don't forget to vote for Teresa. I know you have been trying to get on 'Dancing with the Stars' for quite some time. Go get it," he captioned the "DWTS" poster he shared on his Instagram.

His gesture received compliments from many of Teresa's fans. Several thanked him for supporting his ex despite their divorce.

"You are an amazing supportive ex-husband. Great role model to your beautiful girls," one wrote.

"So NICE to see you wish her well!! Supporting her is a testament to what you two originally had, and how awesome you two are parenting together! Your girls should be proud," another added.

Teresa, who married Luis Ruelas last month, has four daughters with Joe — Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12.
