“The Office” is probably one of the best TV series of all time and it has a huge fan-following even after six years of its conclusion. Fans keep on flooding the social media now and then to urge the makers and actor to bring back the series once again. Now, the talks of a reunion have come up because one of the series’ main cast members has said that it would be lovely to return for one last time.
John Krasinski, who portrayed the character of Jim Halpert in the popular series, has revealed that he will be happy to join “The Office” once again because that show gave everything to him.
Speaking in an interview with Esquire, the 40-year-old actor opened up about his desire to star in “The Office” once again and noted that the show was the beginning and the end for him. He further added that he learned a lot while shooting it because it was his first “experience” of working with the Hollywood film industry.
“‘The Office’ was absolutely everything to me. I mean, it is my beginning and my end. I am pretty sure at the end of my career I will still be known for Jim. That was my first experience with Hollywood. It was the first creative family I have ever had,” Krasinski said.
Later in the discussion, the “Jack Ryan” star noted that the cast and crew of the “Office” are some of the most important people of his life and whenever they decide to have a reunion, he is always up for it.
“In many ways, they will always be the most important people in that most important experience in my career. So yeah, if they did a reunion, I would absolutely love to do it,” Krasinski said.
The series chronicles the journey of a group of employees working at the Dunder Muffin Paper Company in Pennsylvania. The series ran through nine seasons and was nominated for numerous accolades. Carell won a Golden Globe for the series in the Leading Actor (Comedy series) category. On the other hand, it was also named Outstanding Comedy Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2006. It received a total of 42 nominations at the Emmys during its run.
In related news, Krasinski is busy these days promoting his upcoming flick “A Quiet Place: Part II.” Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will be coming back to reprise their roles as Evelyn, Regan and Marcus in the sequel while Cillian Murphy will be portraying the role of Emmett in the upcoming movie.
