John Mellencamp And Natasha Barrett Call It Quits After Dating For Months: Report

John Mellencamp and Natasha Barrett have called it quits after several months of dating. Their breakup came months after rumors of them being romantically involved first surfaced.

Mellencamp met the renowned realtor through his daughter, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, according to People. The “Jack & Diane” singer and Barrett made their first public appearance in late May when they were spotted holding hands and looking very happy while strolling on the beach in Malibu over Memorial Day weekend.

After photos of their beach date made the rounds online, a source confirmed to People that the 69-year-old Grammy winner had been dating Barrett for some time.

“He is dating Natasha,” the source told the outlet. “He met her through his daughter Teddi Jo, who lives in L.A. They’ve been seeing each other for a few months.”

“Everybody really likes her,” the source added of 46-year-old Barrett.

Barrett is a celebrity realtor who is best known for selling the former love nest of ex-couple Chris Pratt and Anna Faris in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, she previously worked in the film and magazine industries before venturing into the real estate industry.

Barrett has two children while Mellencamp has five, including Michelle, his 50-year-old daughter with ex-wife Priscilla Esterline, 40-year-old Teddi Jo and 36-year-old Justice from his marriage with ex-wife Victoria Granucci and 27-year-old Hud and 26-year-old Speck from his marriage with his third ex-wife Elaine Irwin.

Before dating Barrett, the crooner was linked to Jamie Sue “Nurse Jamie” Sherrill and Meg Ryan, with whom he was previously engaged. Mellencamp and Ryan had been in an on-and-off relationship before splitting in October 2019.

Mellencamp and Barrett are yet to comment on their rumored split.
