Johnny Depp was photographed partying until the morning in London amid his ongoing legal battle.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor was photographed partying in London. Depp is currently in the city as part of his ongoing case against a newspaper after Heard accused him of being violent and abusive.

Depp headed to Laylow, a private members club, restaurant and live music venue in Notting Hill, around midnight and was seen leaving around 5 a.m. He was photographed puffing on a rolled-up cigarette with two buddies as he walked his way to a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.

The “Alice in Wonderland” actor was wearing a cap. He also sported a camouflage jacket, faded blue jeans and leather shoes for the outing. Depp seemed to be in good spirts based on the photos.

Heard’s ex is suing The Sun for libel after publishing a report with a headline that read “Gone Potty! How can JK Rowling be ‘genuinely happy’ casting wife-beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?” The word “wife-beater” was later removed from its article online.

A trial of Depp’s libel claim will start on March 23 and will last for 10 days. A number of witnesses will give evidence to support his claim. There are also many video links from California.

Depp was criticized and mocked on social media following Heard’s allegations. However, some of his closest friends stood by his side.

Paul Bettany took to Twitter and called him the “sweetest, kindest, gentlest man” he has ever known. J.K. Rowling also showed her support to Depp by casting him for her movie “Fantastic Beasts.” Both were mocked and attacked by social media users for their moves in the past.

In February, an audio of Heard confessing that she hit Depp and started their fights leaked. It changed the narrative of their split and many are now campaigning for justice for Depp.

Rowling was also praised for supporting Depp. According to the “Minamata” actor, Rowling knew the truth and she saw the evidence.

“The fact remains I was falsely accused, which is why I’m suing the Sun newspaper for defamation for repeating false accusations. J.K. has seen the evidence and therefore knows I was falsely accused, and that’s why she has publicly supported me. She doesn’t take things lightly. She would not stand up if she didn’t know the truth. So that’s really it,” Depp explained.
