Johnny Depp’s Daughter Lily-Rose Is The New Face Of Chanel No. 5 L’Eau

Johnny Depp’s teenage daughter Lily-Rose is the new face of Chanel No. 5 L’Eau fragrance. She is closely following in the footsteps of her mother Vanessa Paradis, who has been a Karl Lagerfeld muse. The 16-year-old aspiring model took to Instagram and shared the exciting news with her followers Monday.

“I’m so excited to announce that I am the face of Chanel Number 5 L'EAU!” Lily-Rose captioned a photograph on Instagram. The picture shows Lily-Rose kissing an oversized fragrance bottle with ‘N5 L’Eau Chanel Paris’ written on it. She wears a multicolour patterned dress, while her glossy hair is slicked back into a messy ponytail and tied with a red ribbon.

Lily-Rose also wears heavy eye make-up and pink lipstick. She also shows off her blue manicure. Besides, the fashion house also announced the news on its Instagram. It posted a striking picture of the teen, posing beside a rose bush.

“The Rose of all Roses. Introducing @lilyrose_depp as the new face of N°5 L'EAU, the new N°5. #newchanel5,” Chanel captioned the picture. The fragrance has been created by perfumer Olivier Polge and set to be released in Fall 2016. The new scent is an invigorating and younger take on the classic Chanel No. 5.

The teen will appear in the fall campaign for the fragrance. This is not Lily-Rose’s first gig with Chanel; she is the face of Chanel’s Pearl Eyewear collection which launched in September 2015. Her mother, Vanessa has been a Chanel brand ambassador since the 1990s, first appearing on the scene to promote the Coco Chanel fragrance.

It’s been a busy month for the blonde, who stepped out on the red carpet at Cannes for her film “La Danseuse” (The Dancer) alongside French chanteuse Soko. Lily-Rose will be seen with her dad Johnny in the Kevin Smith-directed “Yoga Hosers.” The teen will also has an acting gig in the film “Planetarium” by Rebecca Zlotowski.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp gushed about his daughter at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film “Alice Through The Looking Glass” on Monday. The 52-year-old actor talked about Lily-Rose’s Chanel modeling campaign. “I didn't expect that all this soon,” he said, adding he was very proud of her. “She’s handling it beautifully, she understands well enough that it’s only whatever it is,” Depp said adding that Lily-Rose has her shoulders on her head and was “killing it.”
