Jonathan Taylor Thomas may have left Hollywood at the height of his career, but he’s done well for himself.
The former ‘90s teenage heartthrob, known to fans as JTT, attended Harvard University, Columbia University and St. Andrew’s University in Scotland since he walked away from acting in 1998, People Magazine reports.
"I'd been going nonstop since I was 8 years old," he told People on his acting career. "I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break."
Now 31-years-old, Thomas will reunite with his former “Home Improvement” co-star, Tim Allen, on “Last Man Standing” this Friday, Entertainment Weekly reports.
"MAN, you look familiar," Tim Allen’s character, Mike Baxter, says to Thomas in the upcoming episode, poking fun at the pair's on-screen reunion.
Back in 2011, at the "Home Improvement” reunion, Thomas said he would like to return to the film industry.
“I think at this point, I’d eventually like to work behind the camera," he told People Magazine.
And for fans waiting for a JTT comeback, that might be a possibility. Thomas lives in Los Angeles and told the news outlet he’s worked on film scripts and directing.
Thomas isn’t the only '90s star making a return visit to TV.
Topanga and Cory, also known as Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage, along with the rest of the “Boy Meets World” cast will star in the pilot episode of the spin-off series, “Girl Meets World.” The show began filming on March 20, E! News reports.
