'Jujutsu Kaisen' Chapter 162 Delayed: New Release Date And Spoilers

Remi strikes a deal with Megumi Fushiguro and it looks like she has got herself a protector. Fans will have to wait for all the action in the Culling Game because "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 162 is not releasing this week.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" will be on a one-week hiatus and the new chapter will be coming out on Oct. 17, Manga Plus confirmed. The print version of the chapter will hit the stands on Oct. 18.

Twitter user Ducky has shared the preview of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 162.

"An invitation to the path of carnage...," read the short preview.

In Chapter 161 of "Jujutsu Kaisen," Hanyu, a player in the Culling Game, was shown bossing over a guy named Amai. She ordered him to signal her if something came up.

Outside the barrier, Megumi warned Yuji Itadori to be aware of incarnated sorcerers from the past. Yuji agreed with him but still wanted Megumi to explain.

Megumi told him some of the sorcerers are from more than 1000 years ago and, in that era, fighting to the death was common. He added it was likely the reason the sorcerers entered into contracts with Kenjaku as they could kill as many players as they like.

He also feared that Higuruma and Kashimo were ancient sorcerers and they shouldn't expect any kind of negotiations.

A Kogane appeared before them and asked them if they were willing to get inside the barrier and participate in the ongoing Culling Game. Megumi told Yuji that they have to focus on Higuruma and gather as much information as they can on him.

As soon as they entered the barrier, they were separated. It turned out that when a player crosses the barrier, the Culling Game randomly places that player to one of the nine chosen locations.

Itadori saw a boy with a flashlight and wondered if he was guiding him. However, he was signaling his partner Hanyu.

Suddenly, Hanyu appeared and rammed straight into Yuji. They crashed through several highrises before Yuji managed to bounce back. He was startled by the sudden attack while Hanyu was impressed by Yuji's grit. Elsewhere, Megumi was confronted by a player named Remi.
