‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Chapter 173 Spoilers, Preview: What’s Next For Megumi Fushiguro?

The fierce battle between Megumi Fushiguro and Reggie Star has finally come to an end. Megumi used his wit to win the battle against the extremely capable Reggie. "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 173 is likely to focus on Megumi’s next destination in the barrier.

A Twitter user named Ducky has shared the preview of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 173. It will be interesting to see if Megumi will reunite with Yuji.

In Chapter 172, after Megumi unleashed the Max Elephant inside the domain, it nearly crushed both him and his opponent Reggie.

In order to stop his blood from collecting in his lower limbs and starting a state of decreased blood flow, Megumi lowered his posture and used Cursed Energy to reinforce his entire body with special attention to his lower half.

However, Reggie wasn’t ready for it, and under the weight of Max Elephant, his right fibula and heel bone broke. Meanwhile, the pressure on these two fighters was enough to crush them to death. Reggie knew he messed up as he wondered if he would have saved the trucks he would have survived and won against Megumi.

Reggie decided to enter the shadow and recreate his ace card but Megumi was not dispelling his domain. Later, Reggie did activate his Contractual Recreation but it was too late because he started falling into nothingness.

Just when Megumi was ready to dispel the domain and empty his shadow, Reggie emerged again and used Contractual Recreation to summon a two-floor wooden structure that would smash on them.

However, Megumi had something else in mind. As soon as the structure crashed on them, Megumi ended the domain and fled into the shadow. The structure destroyed the floor of the gymnasium and Reggie fell into the pool.

Apart from Reggie, his receipts were wet too and that meant he could not use Contraction Recreation. Soon, Megumi and Reggie engaged in a one-on-one battle and the former emerged victoriously.
