Julianne Hough has been candid about her struggles with Endometriosis. Now, the 30-year-old dancer's husband is opening up about their journey to start a family.

In a recent episode of his podcast with Gavin DeGraw, "How Men Think," Brooks Laich revealed that he and Hough started the in-vitro fertilization process almost one year ago. The couple has yet to conceive but that doesn't make Laich any less proud of his wife.

Regarding their decision to start IVF, the entrepreneur and NFL player explained to People, “Knowing she has endometriosis, it could potentially make things challenging in the future to conceive naturally." He continued, "That was just a looking at the big picture and what we want as a family."

Hough also froze some of her eggs last year and that hasn't gone unnoticed by her husband. Laich told People, "The commitment that she made to us having a family is something I’ll never forget."

The "America's Got Talent" judge's husband also makes sure to do his part. “As a husband, I just go into full support mode. Whatever my wife needs, whatever I can do, I’m fighting the smallest portion of the fight with her,” the 36-year-old said. “There are certain things in my wife’s life that I know she appreciates that help her feel calm and help her feel relaxed, so I double those efforts during that time just to show that I’m there with her and I support her.”

IVF is typically a private process for most couples but for Laich and Hough -- who is a spokesperson for AbbVie's Get in the Know About Me in EndoMEtriosis campaign -- hope to help people by being open about their experience. The couple, who wed in July 2017, has received a ton of support since opening up.

"The outpouring has been incredible,” Laich said. “Text messages from friends that I didn’t even know were considering it, messages on Twitter and Facebook, Instagram, people thanking us for opening up about that. I just hope it helps people."
