Juliet Supperclub Shooting Leaves One Dead in NYC Nightclub
Multiple people were wounded and one man was pronounced dead after a shooting at the Juliet Supperclub early Tuesday morning.
A 43-year-old clubgoer, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Bellevue hospital after a gunman fired shots into his chest and back. According to police reports, the man was wearing a white leather jacket when he open fired around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday inside of the nightclub.
Another 28-year-old patron was reported as injured in the shootout before he was rushed to Bellevue hospital, where he is in stable condition.
One woman, listed under the name sexccladi on Twitter, live tweeted the entire scene, as she was shot in the leg amidst the gunfire. Her Twitter account has since been removed.
Five people hit, she tweeted on her way to the hospital.

Police say the woman, 28, went to the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens later with a gunshot wound to the leg, which she tweeted a picture of.
According to the New York Daily News, some NBA and NFL players were inside the hotspot but none of them were injured. The Fire Department of New York reported that six people were retrieved from Juliet following the shooting.
The shooting at Juliet Supperclub comes just two months after a club promoter fatally stabbed another man outside the club's velvet ropes. 41-year-old Manuel Manny Stax Pinero was arrested for murdering Christopher Adames, 23.
According to club spokeswoman Amanda Mitchell, new security measures have been adopted to the club following the stabbing.
Police are still investigating Tuesday's shooting at Juliet and the nightclub is reportedly cooperating.
We have turned over all video surveillance and are doing all we can to aide the police with this matter, Mitchell said.
Juliet Supper Club will close for Tuesday and Wednesday evening and considering closing its doors on Monday nights for its regular Just Chill Mondays party, according to the Gothamist.
Since the shooting Tuesday morning, club frequenters have tweeted about the shooting at the New York hotspot in Chelsea.
