Those looking to cool off with a movie this July are in luck. There are plenty of new films coming out in theaters throughout the month. See release dates and more:

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” (July 2) Spider-Man (Tom Holland) wants a normal summer vacation in Europe, but Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has other plans. The international flick also introduces Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Rated PG-13.

“Midsommar” (July 3) An American couple (Jack Reynor and Florence Pugh) are going through a tough time and end up heading to a midsummer festival in Sweden with a group of friends. They quickly realize that the festivities are rather disturbing. Rated R.

“The Farewell” (July 12) Awkwafina stars as a young woman whose family constructs an elaborate lie to reunite the family to say goodbye to their grandmother in China. The lie—a fake wedding—is meant to keep the matriarch from learning she is dying. Not rated.

“Crawl” (July 12) There is a hurricane, and one young woman (Kaya Scodelario) is fighting to survive it. But first, she’ll have to face the alligators. Rated R.

“Stuber” (July 12) Dave Batista plays a tough cop whose eye surgery is preventing him from driving. He recruits an Uber driver (Kumail Nanjiani) to take him around the city while he hunts down his partner’s murderer in this action comedy. Rated R.

“Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable” (July 12) This documentary follows the mother-of-two as she reflects on her life, which was drastically changed when a shark bit off her arm at age 13. That didn’t stop her from continuing to surf. Rated PG.

“Lying and Stealing” (July 12) Theo James and Emily Ratajkowski play a thief and con woman who team up for a heist. Rated R.

“Rojo” (July 12) Greg Kinnear, Taylor Schilling, Emily Mortimer, Luke Wilson and Bradley Whitford star in this movie about a dentist who is shocked when one of his patients dies by suicide.

“Firecrackers” (July 12) Michaela Kurimsky and Karena Evans play two young women who are trying to escape their small town life, but they make a lot of mistakes along the way.

“The Art of Self-Defense” (July 12 select cities; July 19 everywhere) After shy bookkeeper Casey (Jesse Eisenberg) is attacked, he enrolls at a karate studio to learn how to protect himself. He soon discovers the studio's mysterious nighttime classes, where hyper-masculinity and brutality take over in this black comedy. Rated R.

“Saving Zoe” (July 12) Based on Alyson Noel’s YA novel, this teen drama shows Echo (Laura Morano) searching for answers about her sister’s (Vanessa Morano) murder. Rated R.

“Lion King” (July 19) Disney’s CGI version of the classic animated movie brings in Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and more to voice the characters. Rated PG.

“Bottom of the 9th” (July 19) Joe Manganiello stars as a baseball player who made a big mistake. At 39, he’s fresh out of prison and ready to finally make his dreams come true. Manganiello's real-life wife Sofía Vergara also stars. Rated R.

“Once Upon A Time….in Hollywood” (July 26) It’s 1969 and TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) are trying to figure out how to navigate the end of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Margot Robbie also stars while Quentin Tarantino directs. Rated R.

“Skin” (July 26) Jamie Bell plays a young man who is trying to escape a white supremacist gang. Rated R.

“Wheelie” (July 26) This family-friendly animated flick shows an underdog cabbie try to become king of the road. First, however, he has to save the red hot rod that was kidnapped. Rated PG.
