Phoenix 4th of July Fireworks

The 4th of July is finally here, and though temps are high, that doesn’t mean that the Pheonix Metropolitan area, also known as the “Valley of the Sun,” isn’t ready to celebrate its American pride like the rest of the country.

The city of Phoenix and other surrounding areas are set to have a number of events to celebrate U.S. Independence, including fireworks displays, concerts and festivals all day on July 4th. Check out the full schedule of events (all times are in PT) below.

  • 4th Of July Celebration: This event in Surprise, AZ, will feature fireworks at 8:40 p.m.
  • 4th Of July Fireworks Celebration: This event in Apache Junction will feature fireworks, but those planning to attend are being cautioned to arrive early due to limited parking and traffic restrictions.
  • 4th Of July Freedom Fest: This full-day event in Florence will see fireworks begin at 8:30.
  • All-American Festival: Head over to the Peoria Sports Complex for a fun festival featuring live music, food eating contests, a cornhole tournament and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • Arizona Celebration of Freedom: Featuring tons of musical acts, stunt shows and all other events, this is one celebration that shouldn’t be missed. Fireworks are set to go off starting at 9:30 p.m.
  • Buckeye Old-Fashioned Independence Day Celebration: Taking place from 6-9:30 p.m. at Youngker High School, this event will see fireworks going off at 9 p.m.
  • Fabulous Phoenix Fourth: This annual event is one of the largest in the area, and will once again take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Steele Indian School Park. This free event will feature two stages filled with musical acts and entertainers, lots of vendors, arts and crafts, a car display and plenty of other kid-friendly activities. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
  • Fourth At The Fountain: Featuring free admission, giveaways and prizes, the fireworks are only the cherry on top for this event in Fountain Hills.
  • Fourth Of July Celebration: Taking place at the Paul Mason Sports Complex, fireworks will be at 9 p.m.
  • Gilbert’s 4th Of July Celebration: Weather permitting, fireworks at this free event will begin at 8:30 p.m.
  • Great American 4th: Families will enjoy food, entertainment and activities before capping off their evenings with a fireworks display.
  • Hometown Fourth At Schnepf Farms: This event is making a return after taking a year off due to road improvement projects around the farm in 2018.
  • July 4th Fireworks Spectacular: This event in Chandler will see fireworks going off at 9 p.m., and the only cost is $5 for parking.
  • July Fourth Tempe Town Lake Festival: Taking place at Tempe Beach Park, this event, with tickets available for purchase online, will raise funds to benefit local children’s and youth organizations and feature fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
  • Scottsdale’s 4th Of July Celebration At Westworld: This event takes place from 4-9:30 p.m. with fireworks set to go off at 9 p.m.
  • Star Spangled Fourth: Taking place at Goodyear Park, this event will take place from 6-10 p.m.
  • Tolleson’s 4th Of July Celebration: Featuring water slides and other activities, this event at Veteran’s Park begins at 4 p.m.
  • Westgate Fireworks Fest: This family-friendly event taking place in the Westgate Entertainment District takes place from 5-9:30 p.m. and features a free fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m.
