The Fourth of July spirit in the “Valley of the Sun,” also known as Phoenix, Arizona, will be alive and well in 2021, after fewer celebrations went on during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

While some events have been canceled and others will be a mix of drive-in or in-person events, there will be plenty for citizens of the area to feast their eyes on when it comes to July 4th this year. Check out the full schedule (all times PT) below:

Apache Junction Fourth of July Fireworks:

The Apache Junction High School football field will be the site of a fireworks show beginning at 8:30 p.m., and the parking lot will open at 6 p.m. for the free event, Other activities will also be available (some with a fee), including live music, family games and activities and face painting.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants Postgame Fireworks Spectacular

Fans of the Diamondbacks who were planning on attending this weekend’s series of games against the San Francisco Giants will get an extra treat at Chase Field, where the roof will open after each game for fireworks. Tickets to the game are required in order to see the show and can be purchased at various price points at MLB.com.

Buckeye’s Independence Day Celebration

The annual show this year will be a drive-in/tailgate-style event, featuring food trucks, vendors and music. The parking lot will open at 6:30 p.m., with fireworks set to begin around 8:45 p.m.

Chandler July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

A drive-in fireworks show at Tumbleweed Park is planned. Parking lots open at 7 p.m., with fireworks planned for 9 p.m. A grassy area will also be available for watching fireworks, and will also feature food trucks and other vendors. Parking passes will be available for $5.00 and can be purchased here.

Fourth at the Fountain

Fountain Park will be the site of an event with live music from Rock Lobster (a cover band), food vendors and fireworks. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Gilbert 4th of July Celebration

Head to Gilbert’s Regional Park for a free event featuring live music, food trucks and fireworks, from 5:30-9:15 p.m. Fireworks start at 8:45 p.m.

Goodyear Star Spangled Fourth

The show, at Goodyear Ballpark, will feature live music, family activities and bounce houses, as well as inside stadium seating or in-vehicle parking lot spots for viewing fireworks. Things begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., with fireworks set to happen at 9 p.m.

Hometown 4th at Schnepf Farms

Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek will be the host for a wonderful event and show featuring live music, a vendors marketplace, a bubble pit, food trucks and a beer and wine garden, and of course, the fireworks. Tickets can be purchased online (and must be in advance). They are $25 per vehicle for general admission or $75 per person for a VIP option which includes front-row seating for fireworks, access to private bathrooms and a dinner.

Maricopa’s Great American 4th & Tailgate

Visitors can enjoy fireworks at Copper Sky Park, as well as live music. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. and those who are interested in a specialty parking pass will also be able to grill and tailgate prior to the show.

Peoria’s All-American Festival

This festival, at the Peoria Sports Complex, will feature music by Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, family-friendly entertainment, concessions and fireworks, which will start at 9:15 p.m. A VIP experience will also be available, featuring a buffet, private restrooms and air-conditioning.

Red, White & BOOM at The Wigwam

Head over to The Wigwam resort in Litchfield Park for a fireworks show, which is free to attend, though parking at the resort is only available to guests. Tickets to buy food and drink will also be available for those who wish to purchase. The event kicks off at 7 p.m.

Subaru Presents Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld

There will be three different ways to enjoy the festivities this year, which include a BBQ at 5 p.m., parking lots open at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. The indoor, in-person BBQ will feature games, live music and premium seating for $18-$36 per person. A parking spot on the polo field where guests can bring their own chairs, blankets, food and drink is $36 per vehicle, and parking at a smaller viewing area from the parking lot is $21 per vehicle.

Surprise 4th of July Celebration

This free event, beginning at 6 p.m. at Mark Coronado Park, will feature live music and food trucks. The fireworks will start at 8:40 p.m.

Wickenburg’s 4th of July Spectacular

This free event at Sunset Park runs from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and will feature live music, a corn hole tournament, food trucks, a classic car show, water slides, a dunk tank, and an “off-road showcase.” Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
