- This marked their first appearance since Hailey was hospitalized with a blood clot
Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber packed on the PDA at the 64th Grammy Awards red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
The event marked their first joint appearance since Hailey was hospitalized due to a blood clot in her brain. The couple made a bold statement at the ceremony, with Justin wearing an oversize Balenciaga suit paired with monster Crocs and a hot pink beanie and Hailey keeping it simple with her white silk strapless Saint Laurent gown, which complemented her loose braid and multi-strand pearl choker.
The Biebers stole the show by packing on some PDA, while posing at the red carpet by kissing in front of the camera. After their time on the red carpet was done, they walked into the ceremony hand in hand.
Justin was nominated for eight Grammy awards this year for his latest album “Justice.” His hit song “Peaches,” which debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 100 last March, was nominated in the Best R&B Performance, Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Record of the Year. This year also marks the first time the singer has received nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year all at once.
Justin and Hailey’s Grammy appearance was their first since the latter received medical attention last month after experiencing stroke-like symptoms that affected her movement. On March 12, the Arizona-born model shared via her Instagram Story she suffered from a small clot in her brain, but was lucky enough to recover.
“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours,” she wrote at the time. “I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love,” she added.
