Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Agree To Keep Their Romance ‘Low Key’
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still hanging out, but they have not officially gotten back together.
According to People, the two singers have agreed to keep their romance as “low key” as possible. Last week, they decided to not hangout as frequently as they did two weeks ago.
“They are great and very happy. It just got too crazy last week with all the attention,” the source said. Last week, Bieber and Gomez were spotted on their way to and from the church. They also went biking around the neighborhood and hung out at the “Wolves” singer’s home.
In August, Bieber announced that the rest of his “Purpose” tour has been cancelled so he could focus on taking care of his mental health. The same source told the publication that 23-year-old still wants to prioritize himself so he has decided to not focus all of his attention on Gomez.
“Justin cancelled his tour to take care of his mental health and he wants to continue to focus on this. He didn’t like the chaos,” the source said.
But even though Bieber and Gomez will be staying as “low-key” as possible, this does not mean they will no longer work towards bettering their relationship. A second source revealed that things are “okay” between the two.
“They just backed off a little bit from being out there and are being a bit more low-key,” the source said. But when asked if Bieber and Gomez still plan to make things official, the insider said, “It’s getting close.”
Earlier this month, another source claimed that Gomez never completely moved on from Bieber. The couple started dating in 2010, when he was just 16 and she was just 18. “Justin was Selena’s first love. He will always have a special place in her heart. She always held out hope that one day the circumstances and timing would be right,” the source said.
However, there have also been reports saying that Gomez’s closest friends are not happy with her and Bieber’s reunion because they know he’s not good for her.
