A reader can expect to read about the role played by Pattie Mallette in her son's rise to stardom, and she will also share details of the trauma, abuse and addiction that she went through as a child. In her young adult years she apparently even attempted suicide, reports Associated Press.
Justin Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun (who later became his manager) through his videos uploaded on Youtube.
Mallette, from Startford, Ontario, was pregnant with Bieber at the age of 18 in 1994. The book, written in collaboration with A.J. Gregory, will include a foreword by Bieber. It is slated for release on Sept. 18, says the report.
