Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel In 'Secret' Marriage Therapy Amid Relationship Trouble?
Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel are taking marriage counseling after the singer joked about his wife to his friends that led to trouble in their relationship, Radar Online reported Wednesday. As several previous reports of Radar Online have been debunked, International Business Times cannot independently verify the latest claim.
“Justin recently joked to friends how motherhood has changed his wife, but not in a way she thinks is funny,” a source close to the stars told Radar Online. "Jessica overheard Justin jest that when she’s not on the red carpet, she looks like a small-town housewife with too much to do … She heard Justin refer to her as a soccer mom and blew a gasket!”
According to the celebrity gossip website's source, a "friend of the couple suggested marriage therapy before things got worse." The couple reportedly took the advice and are going for marriage counseling "once a week."
While Timberlake praised his actress spouse in his recent autobiography titled “Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me,” his alleged comment in private to his friends likely angered Biel.
The 37-year-old singer “told friends Jessica’s insecurity can sometimes drive him nuts and he wished she’d lighten up,” the source told Radar Online. The source added that Biel has “had issues about not feeling ‘hot’ anymore since giving birth three years ago to their son, Silas... It took her ages to get Justin to settle down … the jokes do not sit well with Jess."
However, Timberlake and Biel have not publicly spoken about any trouble between them. As there has been no official comment, the Radar Online story cannot be confirmed.
Earlier this month, the pop star had postponed his tour as his doctor directed him not to sing for yet another month because of his bruised vocal cords.
“Hey Guys, I’m sure you have heard that I’ve had to postpone several tour dates due to bruised vocal cords,” he wrote on Instagram. “My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly. Thank you for understanding — I see all of your posts and I appreciate the support and the love. I look forward to coming back stronger than I was before. More to come on rescheduled dates.”
It was later announced that the tour will pick back up on Jan. 4, 2019, in Washington, D.C. Timberlake has been touring behind his 2018 album "Man of the Woods."
