Audrina Patridge has recalled an encounter with Justin Timberlake more than a decade ago that left her feeling "humiliated."

In Patridge's new memoir "Choices: To the Hills and Back Again," the 37-year-old reality star opened up about her interaction with Timberlake when she and her "The Hills" co-stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port presented the singer with Male Artist of the Year at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

Patridge wrote that the "SexyBack" singer, 41, had "rude, diva behavior" during that moment, according to an excerpt from the book obtained by Page Six.

"We were invited to so many awards shows, and even asked to present a few times," she wrote, before recalling that she, Conrad and Port were called on to give Timberlake the coveted honor at the 2007 VMAs.

According to Patridge, both Port and Conrad were "beyond excited" when Timberlake won because the two were "superfans." While she "couldn't have cared less" as Timberlake's music wasn't her favorite, Patridge said she was excited for her co-stars at the time.

But she wrote that Timberlake's behavior that night made her realize that in addition to his discography, she also wasn't a fan of his personality.

"And then Justin wouldn't even come up to us and accept the award in front of a packed house! Chris Brown came up onstage with him, took the award from us himself, and then presented it to Justin as we backed off to the side," she wrote.

Patridge added that Conrad and Port were "devastated," while she was "annoyed at his rude, diva behavior."

Although Timberlake praised Brown in his acceptance speech, a video of the moment showed that it was Timbaland who took the Moonman from Patridge and her co-stars and handed it to his mentee and collaborator.

At the time, Timberlake ended his acceptance speech by telling the network to "play more damn videos. We don't want to see the Simpsons on reality television, play more videos," seemingly referencing sisters Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson, who have had their own shows on MTV.

Patridge labeled his comments as a "personal attack" against reality stars, revealing that "Lauren's jaw dropped. We were humiliated."

Although Patridge didn't have a great encounter with Timberlake, she said that one artist at the awards show was kind to her.

"Fortunately, not everyone was as rude [as Timberlake]. Our table was right next to this up-and-coming artist and her mom. Maybe you recognize the name Rihanna?" the "Audrina" star added. "I spent a while chatting with her and her mom that night, and she couldn't have been nicer. She was probably one of my favorite people I've ever met at an awards show."

Patridge's book "Choices: To the Hills and Back Again" hit shelves Tuesday.
