Kailyn Lowry-Javi Marroquin Divorce: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Possibly Cheated With ‘Peach,’ Report Says
One of the reasons “Teen Mom 2” stars Javi Marroquin and Kailyn Lowry are divorcing is because Marroquin cheated, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Monday. Christina “Peach” Pietrobon, who used to also be friends with Lowry is reportedly responsible for the couple ending their marriage.
“Peach is a driving force in Javi wanting a divorce,” an insider told the publication. Peach occasionally appeared on the MTV reality show. She reportedly fell for Marroquin after they hooked up in high school.
Pietrobon, 24, gave Marroquin an ultimatum. “She has tried to make him choose between her and his family,” the source told Radar Online. “She even went as far as to say none of his friends would be there for him if he chose to stay with his wife.” The insider added: “[She] now takes every opportunity to tell Javi to leave [Kail.]”
Even though she developed a friendship with Lowry, it was to please Marroquin. “The only reason she became ‘friends’ with Kail is because Javi pushed it,” the source said.
Pietronbon denied the accusation. “That’s not true at all,” she said. “[They] have their own issues and relationships struggles” that led to their divorce.
In a different article, Pietrobon admitted to Radar Online she sent Marroquin a scathing breakup letter from a scorned ex. He posted it to Snapchat, which made it seem like it was from Lowry. In reality, it was a note Pietronbon found on the blog Annabashedly. “That’s from an article I sent him,” she said Friday. “Definitely not from Kail or any lady figure at all.”
Marroquin also denied Lowry wrote the note. “That snap was an article someone sent me,” he tweeted Friday.
Lowry didn’t seem bothered by the rumor. She tweeted about surviving and traveling. “She survived because the fire inside her burned brighter than the fire around her,” she wrote Monday. “Maybe I should sell my house and get an apartment so we have more money to travel.”
