Kaley Cuoco Shares New Workout Photo On Instagram Months After Shoulder Surgery
"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco has shared a new workout photo on Instagram months after her shoulder surgery.
On Friday, Cuoco took to her Instagram page to post a new photo of herself working hard at the gym. In the snap, the 32-year-old actress is wearing a loose sleeveless top and black leggings while balancing herself on her forearms.
Cuoco gave a shoutout to Proactive Sports Performance and her fitness coach Ryan Sorensen in the caption of her Instagram post. The actress, who has played Penny in "Big Bang Theory" for over a decade, also implied that she seems to have completely recovered from the shoulder surgery that she underwent last year, calling it a "distant memory."
This isn't the first time Cuoco has a shared a photo of herself working out at the gym this year. On Jan. 12, she also took to Instagram to post a set of snaps of herself showing off her muscles as she is guided through a workout by her trainer. One photo seemed to show Cuoco after the end of her exercise as she was panting and leaning on her knees for support.
Cuoco underwent shoulder surgery just a few days after she tied the knot with husband Karl Cook on June 30, 2018. Due to this, the couple had spent their honeymoon in the hospital as Cuoco got treatment for an old injury and recovered from the surgery.
Following her surgery, Cuoco explained on Instagram that the surgery had actually been scheduled a year before. She said she "got hurt" in 2017, but at the time, she did not require immediate surgery so she decided to put it off.
Cuoco added that it would tae four to six weeks before the "big cast" she was put in could come off. She lamented that she couldn't ride horses for a while and would have to "lay low."
But while Cuoco and Cook were not able to enjoy the honeymoon of their dreams right away, they did have a wonderful European getaway after the actress recovered.
Meanwhile, Cuoco's series, "The Big Bang Theory," is on its 12th season and will soon be coming to an end. Fans can still catch Penny, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and the rest of the gang when "Big Bang Theory" Season 12, episode 15 airs on Feb. 7 on CBS.
