Kaley Cuoco Shares Sweet Photo With Dog Ruby, Horse Shmooshy
Kaley Cuoco recently shared sweet photos with her two beloved pets.
On her Instagram account, the “Big Bang Theory” actress first uploaded a snap of herself cuddling her horse, Shmooshy. Cuoco couldn’t keep her love for her horse to herself so she professed it to her millions of followers on social media.
Cuoco also shared a sweet photo with her miniature dog, Ruby. In the photo, the dog owner and Ruby are both lying on the grass. The white mutt touches her master’s nose as Cuoco pouted her lips looking like she’s ready to give Ruby a kiss. In her caption, Cuoco used the hashtag “adopt don’t shop” and reminded her fans of the importance of adopting dogs instead of buying them from breeders of elsewhere.
The animal adoption advocate recently encouraged her fans to donate any amount to Dallas Dog RRR, an organization that provides food and shelter to the animals that were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Cuoco, who is a self-confessed animal lover, has also teamed up with Paw Works to help provide disregard dogs a permanent home. She has also served as a temporary foster home for the pets who haven’t found theirs.
During her recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, “The Wedding Ringer” actress said that she became interested in adopting dogs when she learned that there are some misconceptions regarding pit bulls. A few years ago, she decided to adopt a pit bull named Norman, and her life changed since then. “I knew right away. I wanted this dog to be in my life,” she said.
“I live by this saying… I don’t know who quoted it, but it’s like: Who rescued who? And I just think it’s the sweetest thing. Because it’s true. It changes your life,” she added.
As of late, Cuoco has at least three dogs at home. Last year, the actress said goodbye to two of her dogs after they died a week apart from each other. Cuoco first shared that Petey, her first dog when she was just 16, died due to old age. She also penned an emotional post after Chester’s passing a week later.
