Kaley Cuoco's Husband Karl Cook Won An Award For This Surprising Competition
The former star of CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” Kaley Cuoco has a husband who is talented in more ways than one. Beyond his “championship level” equestrian feats, Karl Cook is also an avid gardener.
“You know I want to ask you something about your husband because he sounds like a very cool guy,” Conan O’Brien asked Cuoco on a new episode of “Conan At Home.” “Karl Cook, he’s an equestrian, but he’s also a championship-level gardener?”
Cuoco explained that he is indeed apt at farming and gardening, specifically for pumpkins.
“Actually, this is a very interesting fact about my very strange, adorable husband: he is an award-winning pumpkin grower,” Cuoco replied.
O’Brien then stayed silent saying, “I’m just letting that silence hang right there."
As a master pumpkin-grower, Cuoco said her husband is keen on growing and eating his own food.
“He’s an amazing farmer he grows all of our food,” she said. “It was funny when this whole quarantine thing started, I was like, ‘Oh my god we’ve got to get our produce and our this’ and he’s like, ‘Babe, we’re gonna live off the land,’ and I’m like, ‘How long have you wanted to say that?’”
Cuoco and Cook were married in June 2018 Women’s Health reported, but only recently moved in together. According to her, the recent relationship update has been going well.
“We’ve been together for four years, married for two,” Cuoco said. “And now we just moved in together during the quarantine and I — I like him.”
Moving in together is not the only thing that has changed due to quarantine, as Cuoco revealed the couple has also found another pastime to occupy themselves while they have been home.
“I feel like all I’ve done for the past six weeks is eat, drink and pick up dog shit,” she joked.
Drinking is an activity Cuoco says she and her husband are great at, adding that Cook “makes up all these drinks” for her, including her favorite: old fashioned.
“We’ve been drinking an excessive amount,” she said. “He has created the Karl fashion which involves scotch.”
She then went on to explain that quarantine life is weird because the routine mostly stays the same from day-to-day.
“And then all of a sudden I’m asleep and I wake up and we do it all over again,” she laughed.
