  • "Kanye" fell 3,410 spots since last year in BabyCenter's "2022 Hottest Baby Names Trends" report
  • The report came after Adidas and Balenciaga cut ties with him following his anti-Semitic remarks last month
  • Tesla founder Elon Musk's first name also dropped 450 spots from last year in the new report

"Kanye" is no longer a popular baby name.

BabyCenter released its latest report on baby name trends Tuesday, and it indicated that Kanye West's name plunged 3,410 spots since last year, MarketWatch reported.

The "2022 Hottest Baby Names Trends" report, which was formulated based on the most searched name on the site's baby name finder feature, came after the 45-year-old rapper lost billions of dollars' worth of deals with Adidas, Balenciaga, Gap and JPMorgan Chase after he launched a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt and made anti-Semitic remarks on social media.

BabyCenter also revealed that "Elon," the name shared with billionaire Elon Musk, was one of the year's fastest-falling names dropping more than 450 spots from last year on its list.

The report suggested that the Tesla founder and new Twitter owner's name may continue to fall further on the list by next year as a result of the 51-year-old's $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform last month.

Twitter's top executives, including chief information security officer (CISO) Lea Kissner, head of integrity and safety Yoel Roth and chief privacy officer Damien Kieran, resigned from their posts just days after Musk took over the platform, according to CNN.

Although they did not reveal the purpose of their resignation, an internal Slack message viewed by CNN appeared to indicate that there was internal turmoil over Musk's plans to "monetize" Twitter.

Within three weeks of taking over Twitter, Musk reportedly laid off half of the company's 7,500 workers. On Tuesday, he fired at least two dozen more employees who publicly and privately criticized him, The New York Times reported.

Musk reportedly has been pushing the remaining employees to quickly establish new products, claiming that Twitter may face bankruptcy and needed to be more "hardcore" to survive. Due to this, a company re-organization is in the works, he claimed.

BabyCenter's 2022 trending baby names list also suggested that the celebrity drama that emerged this year affected the popularity of several names, with "Will," "Smith," "Jada" and "Chris" falling several spots.

The digital parenting site suggested that it could have been the result of the infamous Oscars slap that was broadcasted across the globe when Academy Award winner Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock after he allegedly insulted his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The names "Olivia" and "Liam" topped the girl names and boy names lists, respectively, according to the report.
