Kanye West, Irina Shayk Split After Months Of Dating, 'Aren't Great Romantic Partners': Report

Kanye West and Irina Shayk have decided to part ways, multiple outlets have confirmed.

Shayk, 35, and West, 44, were first romantically linked in June after being spotted in France together on his birthday. Several outlets claimed at the time that they had been seeing each other quietly for months. However, their brief fling has now ended, People reported.

"It was never a serious thing that took off," an unnamed source told the outlet. "Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn't have time to date right now."

The source added that the Yeezy designer finds the supermodel "amazing" and that the two "remain friendly" after calling it quits.

West and Shayk's split was also confirmed by Us Weekly, with one anonymous source telling the outlet that Bradley Cooper's ex realized "they aren't great romantic partners."

"Kanye and Irina are over, but they never really started, there’s nothing going on there," the tipster told the outlet.

West and Shayk have not publicly addressed the romance rumors since they were first linked together. Their reps also did not respond to requests for comment on the breakup news.

The split came a little over a month after an insider told People Shayk was not happy that rumors claiming they've already broken up were circulating.

"Irina is so upset at the lies about her and Kanye," the source told the outlet. "They are very much still dating."

In July, an unnamed insider told Page Six that the model refused West's offer to join him in Paris for a couture show, adding that she reportedly only likes the rapper as a friend.

"She likes him as a friend but doesn’t want a relationship with him. She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [in Paris with him]," the source said.

However, E! News later quoted a tipster as saying that West and Shayk were still in touch and were still meeting each other. He was reportedly still very much interested in her by late July, which was around the time he went on a family outing in San Francisco with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and their four kids.

"They are still in touch and he has seen her a few times," the source told the outlet at the time. "He is very interested in dating her and seeing her more."

Kardashian and West share daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2. Shayk shares daughter Lea De Seine, 3, with Cooper.
