Kardashian-Jenner Family Share Sweet Messages For Robert Kardashian On What Would Have Been His 72nd Birthday
The Kardashian family is honoring patriarch Robert Kardashian on what would have been his 72nd birthday. The E! reality stars took to Twitter to share a sweet message about their dad, who passed away on Sept. 30, 2003 from esophageal cancer at the age of 59.
Kim Kardashian West started her morning by posting the first photo of her son Saint West on her website in order to honor her father’s memory. Her second child was born on Dec. 5, and she previously only shared a photo of daughter North West holding his hand.
“Today is my dad’s birthday,” the mom of two wrote. “I know there’s nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren. So I wanted to share this pic of saint with you all.”
The 35-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star followed up the post by tweeting a photo of her father, along with an emotional message that she later deleted.
“So much has gone on in our lives since u’ve been gone & I know u have been my guardian angel seeing it all unfold!” she wrote. “I love u & miss u so much!”
Khloé Kardashian, 31, also used the social media outlet to wish her dad a happy birthday. Siblings Rob Kardashian, 28, and Kourtney Kardashian, 36, have yet to use Twitter or Instagram to share a message about their late father.
Kendall Jenner, whose mother Kris Jenner was married to Robert from 1978 to 1991, tweeted a photo as well. The image features Robert holding a toddler Kendall and her younger sister, Kylie Jenner. “We miss you,” she wrote.
Robert Kardashian has been in the news again recently thanks to the FX series “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” The show revolves around the murder trial of O.J. Simpson, specifically focusing on the legal teams. “Friends” alum David Schwimmer portrays the late lawyer, who was a close friend of Simpson’s and worked on the double homicide case.
