‘Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle’ Hallmark Movies, Mysteries Premiere: Cast And Trailer

There’s no point in spending Sunday night dwelling on the fact that Monday is almost here when you could be watching a brand new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries premiere instead.

“Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle,” starring Jill Wagner and Luke Macfarlane, debuts on the network tonight at 9 p.m. EST, and is based on the novel “Maggie’s Miracle” by Karen Kingsbury.

This isn’t the first time one of Kingsbury’s books has been adapted by the network, however. Her novels “A Time to Dance” and “The Bridge” have both been turned into Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films, with the latter actually being split into two movies.

Her latest, tonight’s “Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle,” features three-time Hallmark Channel movie actress Wagner, making her Hallmark Movies & Mysteries debut. It stars Macfarlane, too, who also has been in three Hallmark Channel movies, as well as one previous Hallmark Movies flick, 2014’s “The Memory Book” with Meghan Ory.

The stars are now taking on the story of a missed love, how one finds their way back to it and the power of Christmas magic. Basically, it’s another classic Christmas movie that you won’t want to miss.

“Maggie (Wagner) spent one unforgettable summer with a boy when they were teens and she’s never forgotten his magical definition of love,” the synopsis shares. “Now a high-powered attorney in New York and a single mother, her young son unexpectedly connects them again.”

Maggie’s working hard to balance her career and her life as a mother to her son, but it’s not always easy. When her son needs help at school and meets Casey (Macfarlane), a tutor, they become fast friends. Working closely, Casey begins to be a sort of father figure to the child.

What Maggie’s son wants most, though, is for his mom to find love and happiness again this holiday season. Will she be able to find her way there with Casey? Will this be the best Christmas for the three of them, or just another romance-less Christmas for Maggie?
