Karlie Kloss Debuts Denim Hair During L'Oreal Shoot

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss gave an edgy look to her blonde hair by dip dyeing it in the season’s newest trend of denim hair. The 23-year-old took her hair color to the next level by debuting a new bright blue ombré finish to her trademark blonde tresses. The model, who is pursuing higher studies in NYU took to Instagram and shared an epic selfie with her 4.2 million followers.

In spite of continuing her studies at the New York University, Karlie is also taking time for her modeling assignments. “Mermaid vibes on set,” the model captioned a selfie clicked while she was getting her hair done for L’Oreal. The picture shows Karlie’s pink pout for the camera.

The model, who recently chopped her hair into a short bob, also debuted long locks in the picture. She wears a white dress with a very plunging neckline with criss-cross detailing in the new picture on Instagram. She also wears electric blue eyeliner. The model shared the picture on the photo-sharing app on Tuesday.

However, Karlie’s new hair look is only temporary; as she revealed that she was working on a photoshoot, and rocked make-up that matched her new “do” perfectly. The model is currently balancing her classes along with several fashion weeks. The rainbow or mermaid hair trend was in fashion a few years back.

Kesha dyed her mane an aquamarine recently, and Kylie Jenner went icy blue, Rihanna and Hillary Duff. Currently the denim hair trend is the latest trend in hair of this season. The colors range from anything like stonewash, indigo or deep sea blue. And, denim is looks anything from haute to edgy.

This fashion season, Karlie has been spotted on the catwalk with some chic “dos” like headbands to loose waves and chic updos. At the Balmain show in Paris Fashion Week, the models’ tresses particularly stole the show. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid swapped hair colors for the show.

Kendall went platinum blonde and Gigi went in for dark brunette tresses. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also sported a dark chocolate brown wig.
