Karrueche Tran-Chris Brown Update: Model Says She Is Not 'Mentally' Ready To Date After Relationship With 'Loyal' Singer

Model Karrueche Tran said in a new interview that she is not in a state to date at all after her relationship with “Loyal” singer Chris Brown, with whom she broke up earlier this year. The couple first started dating in 2011 and broke up after reports surfaced that Brown had fathered a child with another model, Nia Guzman.

“I haven’t really explored dating yet and I’m not sure if I’m mentally there just because of all the stuff that I’ve been through. It’s a lot to open up to somebody,” Tran said in an interview to Kontrol, according to Hollywood Life, adding: “I think people are intimated by the drama (from my past relationship) and not wanting to deal with it because it’s an ongoing story. I’m very guarded and very too myself.”

Despite the comments by Tran, rumors suggest that she is dating Rob Kardashian, after he posted a selfie with her on Instagram saying that he likes it when Tran sends him pictures. However, the photo was later deleted. A report late last month said that Tran wants a “friends with benefits” relationship with Kardashian. “[Tran]’s actually been with [Kardashian] a few times over the years. Whenever she was on-and-off with Chris [Brown] she’d go over and party with him.”

However, the report added that Tran was more interested in Manchester United soccer player Memphis Depay. “Not just because of his looks, but because she’s turned on by dating a soccer superstar,” a source, cited in the report, said.

Despite reports suggesting that the former couple has moved on, last week, Brown reportedly defended Tran on Twitter after his fans criticized her for sharing a picture, which looked like she was throwing shade at him.

Tran shared the meme which read “When You See Ya Ex Who’s A Blood.” The photo was allegedly a dig at Brown’s alleged affiliation to gangs and his fans slammed Tran for sharing it. However, Brown tweeted “Ya’ll should just stop,” asking his fans to stop criticizing Tran.

Brown was in a custody battle with Guzman over his one-year-old daughter Royalty, and is now rumored to be dating Rihanna.
