Karrueche Tran Comments On Rumors About Nia Guzman Moving Closer To Chris Brown

Karrueche Tran has no worries about running into Nia Guzman-Amey, Chris Brown’s baby mama, in Los Angeles. TMZ revealed Wednesday that Brown was working hard to persuade the former model to pack up her home in Houston and move closer to him. The site claims the 25-year-old wants to be there for his 9-month-old daughter, Royalty. He has allegedly threatened to take Guzman to court to have his child support reduced if she does not agree.

While speaking to TMZ’s cameras, Tran kept her lips sealed about Brown and his new family. When asked how she felt about the “Loyal” singer moving Royalty and her mother to L.A., she simply shrugged and wished him well.

“Good for him,” she told the photog.

Tran recently learned her on-again, off-again boyfriend had fathered the child during their relationship. After the story went public, she took to Twitter to put an end to the rumors, writing, “no baby drama for me.” She now plans to appear on “Iyanla Exclusive: Karrueche Tran,” which airs March 28 on OWN. During the interview she’ll discuss their relationship more in depth. Previews show Iyanla Vanzant questioning Tran’s decision to take Brown back several times after he publicly embarrassed her. The 26-year-old is shown breaking down several times during the talk. TMZ previously reported she asked the production crew to leave her home at one point after feeling the interview had taken a negative turn.

After filming for the exclusive interview wrapped, Vanzant revealed how shocked she was at Tran's attitude. The life coach noted that Tran did not appear troubled – at least not nearly as much as she should be – by Brown’s behavior.

“The thing that was so surprising to me is how protective and forgiving she is of Chris. She repeatedly offered that he is only human and humans make mistakes,” Vanzant revealed when speaking to Sister2Sister. “She said she knows he loves her and she just wishes things could change for him. I think I am a bit more troubled by his behavior than she is. I am disturbed that he has such a gift and blessing and continues to dishonor God, himself and women with no accountability. Prison was punishment and punitive. It did not teach responsibility or accountability for his behavior or as the steward of a gift. Anyway, she made no attempt to bash him and will probably come across as naive and relatable.”

Brown and Tran dated off and on throughout the last four years. The pair saw their fair share of hardships, including one very public breakup, but always found their way back to one another. During a February 2015 appearance on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” Brown revealed he had a strong desire to impregnate both Rihanna and Tran during their relationships.
