Karrueche Tran-Rob Kardashian Dating Rumors: Chris Brown Not Threatened, Thinks Hook Up ‘Would Be A Serious Downgrade’

Chris Brown, who has always expressed his possessiveness for Karrueche Tran, is not threatened by his former girlfriend and Rob Kardashian’s rumored romance. The “Loyal” singer thinks that the “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” star does not stand a chance with Tran and their hook up “would be a serious downgrade.”

“Chris is laughing, damn near crying, if anyone thinks he’s threatened by Rob,” a source told Hollywood Life. “No disrespect to the brother, but Rob couldn’t land Karrueche if he were a pilot. For Kae to leave Chris and try to hook up with Rob would be a serious downgrade. And if there’s one thing Chris knows about Karrueche, it’s that she likes that Hollywood life and Rob can’t give her that. Him posting pictures of Karrueche is like whatever to Chris. He knows nothing sexual will ever happen between the two of them. He’d bet all of Royalty’s custom made cars -- and they’re expensive -- on that!”

Tran and Kardashian sparked dating rumors earlier this week after the 28-year-old reality TV star posted a screenshot of their conversation to Instagram, along with a selfie that Brown’s former girlfriend appeared to have sent him.

Kardashian, who has rarely been seen in public or online amid more than a year of battling depression and weight gain, lists Tran in his contacts as "Karroooooooooochieeeeeee" and captioned the now-deleted picture: "I like it when she send me pictures."

Amid reports suggesting that Tran and Kardashian may be romantically involved, Gossip Cop rejected the rumors. “They’ve known each other since high school,” Tran’s representative told Gossip Cop. “That’s all.”

Brown recently got into a feud with rapper The Game after he liked some photos of Tran on her Instagram account earlier this month. The 26-year-old singer’s possessiveness for Tran came into the spotlight after one of his friends threatened singer Marques Houston for flirting with the model on social media.

In May, Brown slammed supermodel Tyson Beckford for spending time with Tran in Las Vegas.

Tran broke up with Brown in March after she discovered that the singer had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. Since then, Brown made several efforts to reconcile with Tran, but she rejected his appeals.
