Kate Middleton Birthday: Prince William’s Wife Reportedly Had A Hangover, Received Special Gifts

Kate Middleton celebrated her 38^th birthday earlier this month, but details about the festivities were only released this week.

A senior palace source told Closer Weekly that the Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday was one of her most memorable celebrations because her parents, husband, children, friends, and Queen Elizabeth were there.

The week-long celebration kicked off with Middleton’s parents arriving on Jan. 4. Michael and Carole Middleton joined Middleton and her friends for long walks and a shooting spree. The group also spent hours reminiscing and laughing about the old times.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis spent time with their mom on her birthday. But after they went to bed, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a celebratory meal with their loved ones.

“Everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ and gave Kate gifts. Champagne and wine flowed throughout the evening — they even played a couple of drinking games. There were quite a few hangovers the following day at church!” the source said.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge’s kids reportedly gave her a special birthday present with the help of Prince William. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are creating a new kids' vegetable garden at Anmer Hall. The royal siblings were also the ones who chose their seeds and plants.

Prince William and Middleton’s children also adorably put together a collage that they gave to their mom on her actual birthday. The source revealed that the photos featured in the collage were taken by Prince George and Princess Charlotte themselves.

And as for Prince William’s gift to his beloved wife, the future king gave Middleton a pair of diamond earrings with a matching necklace.

Meanwhile, the Queen reportedly dropped by during the evening festivities. However, there was no mention of Prince Charles and Camilla attending Middleton’s birthday party.

It was previously reported that Middleton didn’t invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to her celebration this year. According to Express, the future queen only sent on invitations to her closest family and friends.
